Impressions of Seattle Washington, Part 1

The Space Needle

On Tuesday November 2nd, I flew to Seattle Washington and met with my brother Doug and his wife Sarah. They were celebrating their 37th year wedding anniversary.

We stayed for two days in an apartment on the 20th floor of a building near the Seattle waterfront.

The ferris wheel was directly below the building where we stayed, during our brief visit to Seattle.

The large pipe emitting steam is from Seattle Steam Heat & Power Company.

It’s a steam company founded in 1893 and heats downtown buildings via 18 miles of pipes under the streets.
