I recently found a long-lost box of photo slides from my teen years and high school days. The slides are photos of some of my artwork from 1970 and 1972. One of the slides is a photo of the macrame wall-hanging that I did during my Junior year in high school. I entered it in a Kansas City-wide art competition. Of the 200 entries that year, it won first place. The first place prize was a three-day trip to Chicago with a tour of the Chicago Art Institute, the Natural History Museum, the top of the Sears Tower, and a theatre/dinner show. The trip to Chicago was an eye-opener for me as a 17 year old who had never flown before. |

The photos in this newsletter are some of the slides from 1970 and 72 along with recent photos of the twelve constructions that I am currently working on. |
