This afternoon, I had lunch with two friends, Heide Betz, and Renée Dreyfus PhD. Renée is Curator in Charge of Ancient Art at the de Young. She's was in charge of staging the block-buster Ramses the Great, which is closing soon. During our lunch in the Cafe, Renée mentioned that the show had now been seen by over 350,000 visitors. Despite the crowds that were at the show today, Renée gave Heide and I (with VIP Passes) a personal tour of the Ramses Show.
