Photos from the 2016 San Francisco LGBTQI Pride Parade
June 26, 2016

Last Sunday, San Francisco celebrated its LGBTQ Pride with the annual parade on Market Street beginning at the Ferry Building and finishing at the Civic Center Plaza. The parade is the culmination of a month of Pride-themed events in the city, leading up to an all-out celebration for Pride weekend with the Pride Festival in Civic Center Plaza. Forty-six years strong, this year's San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade unveiled the theme,“For Racial and Economic Equality.” Along with that, our sisters and brothers in Orlando were remembered, and their short lives celebrated. With my Media Credenitals, I was on Market Street and photographed the parade, as I've done for many years. Here is a sample from the 3,600 photos that I took during the 5 hour long parade.
