Decorating for the New Year

This was the first time in many years that I did not have to work as a
waiter on New Years Eve. (Sunday is one of my regular days off,
consequently, I was not scheduled to work on the floor.) I did go in at 3:30
though, to decorate the BIG 4 dining room and bar. Along with the mountains
of paper streamers and confetti that I hung from the pictures, paintings,
ram's horn sconces, chandeliers, and bronze sculptures; 1,400 balloons were
brought in, and now float and dance on the ceiling (at this writing). Later
tonight, well after midnight, I will return to clean up the mess.
